Call for Artists

Crocodile River Music proudly presents the 3rd cycle of Worcester's Got African Talent! This one-night showcase will feature six African artists from the Greater Worcester area in Fall 2024.

About the event

We seek artists who self-identify as African in all creative mediums, styles, and levels of expertise. A committee of community members and experts will select 3 experienced artists and 3 emerging artists who may be developing their practice.

Selected artists will receive a $750 stipend to share their art and stories at a free, in-person event at Crocodile River Music. Worcester's Got African Talent celebrates and showcases talent—it’s not a competition.

Past participants said this event helped them make connections and advance their creative careers. Will you be next?

Apply by Friday, August 26, 2024!

Deadline Extended! Applications close Friday, August 26, 2024.

You will need to submit examples of your art.
We will send notices to selected participants by email and phone by September 20, 2024
